Serenity is more than an assisted living residence, it is a home. My Mom has lived here for 5 years. I tried keeping my mom in her own home with an aide but this did not work. She lives in a beautiful room and has access to the entire home. She receives the care and respect she deserves. All the meals are home cooked and served family

- Our father had suffered neglect in another state due to a broken hip and when we got him out here from the East coast he bounced from hospital to rehab and back again. Then we almost lost him due to a medical emergency. That said, Edward and his fantastic team of aids at Serenity stepped up in a big way working with Hospice of the Valley

Then we almost lost him due to a medical emergency. That said, Edward and his fantastic team of aids at Serenity stepped up in a big way working with Hospice of the Valley. The staff is small and so is the facility but the rooms are beautiful with private bathrooms and no bedsores on anyone. They cook homemade meals in a large kitchen where they also interact with the residents. Rachel and Angel are wonderful with the residents, checking on them, engaging with them in a kind way and laughing. If you like a smaller facility with quality care (maximum 10 residents) then this is it. Our father is now off of end of life hospice and onto regular hospice and it speaks to the care and tlc they give. This facility doesn't have the bells and whistles of the bigger ones but it has cleanliness, caring and interaction. The beds are always made, the residents are always clean and it has a sense of family. The views out of the windows are beautiful and there's a lovely terrace with dining and a putting green when the weather is cooler. I've seen a lot of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and community care homes and this is one of the best.
